I am never calling Gregory by his real name again; "Gregors" is just too adorable.
Good point about Jenny not being one to overdo her self-assertion, I hadn't really thought of that. Had she been someone else I think she might've kicked/punched/pulled the hair of every Aristocrat in the room after Brown's untimely demise.
As to the method of orphan killing: I apparently never found this article on Gregors shooting the kids (I assumed that's what he'd done when all I'd read was spoilers, but I agree with spooky in that it would be much worse for him to attack them like an animal). Where was it?

Well, if he shot all the kids, then the kids must've been dumb, scared frozen, or really slow. Cuz Gregors has a six shooter and there's what, like 8 or 9 kids he kills? He needs to reload and its a very slow gun. I can see Jen being frozen to the ground, but not Diana, so maybe he shot Diana first? I can see Amanda, Meg, and the other girls freezing. Eleanor might run. And the other boys, at least the dumb one that broke the generator should run instead of freezing. And if they run, good luck. I've had to catch kids and if they scatter, even in a room, you'll never catch them all. And this was outdoors.
I would lean much more to him attacking them like a dog (like how he attacked Jen in the dream world). I mean, what's the point in him acting like a dog for Martha's spying if he doesn't act like a dog when he makes his debut as Stray Dog? And if I remember right, in Stray Dog the storybook, it does look like a dog chewing them up or something like that.

It was Gregors, with the revolver, in the Hall. I win!
Yeah, I feel like if he was shooting kids, he'd have to go for little orphan Diannie first, and once she was down he'd have Meg all up in his face and absorbing bullets in that ugly little sweater vest like there was no tomorrow (which, if you're these kids, there isn't, and the sun sure as heck ain't coming out then). And then Martha's letters, which are what clinches it for me.

Let's try to stay on-topic, folks. We are discussing Brown's return here.^^

this is an interesting topic, one that I'm still wondering about. So Brown if really is dead by Stray Dog chapter, does this mean when your about to fight the boss that his ghost or spirit comes back to help Jennifer? Are we also led to believe that Jennifer is also dead since at the end if you get the good ending, you see them both walking off into a white light? Would this assume that Jennifer too never grew up either? Ahhh! Confusion! @_@

When posting in topics like this, it is a good idea to read the whole thing through. I already posted my theory on the first page. Read it and any other theories, then say what you think and ask questions.^^ We have topics for the ending somewhere in this section, so you may wish to check those out too.

Just an idea but:
According to I believe one of PrincessJennifer's earlier theory's was that the whole story started because Jennifer saw a dog in the park that reminded her of Brown.
Now I could be totally wrong about this but, what if the dog from the park was the one that saved Jen and not Brown? They look alike so it would be easy to mistake them.

But that wouldn't make sense. She's reliving her twisted memories of the past.
