You better! I love that one! You know, it was quite a push to finish RoR during the Thanksgiving break. If I'm in the mood, I might plow through FF3 during Christmas, but I'd much rather get a 2nd runthrough during that time. I don't think I can do both (I get to spend Christmas coming up with activities for the Boys and Girls Club for Jan-Apr, lucky me )

I just started playing those games. I love ghost stories and bought all three of them. I'm currently playing the first one. So far so good

Played and beaten all the games numerous times. One of those times was at school.
Yes they let me play fatal frame during school. One of the days before christmas break, in high school.
My friends were eager to see what happened, the rest of my classmates who played games were amazed the main characters didn't have guns.

I hope they come out with a director's cut for FF3 (even though I already have it). FF1 was kinda scary, kinda annoying. FF2 was too until I played in FPS. All of a sudden those annoying camera angles disappeared and it got a whole lot scarier. I don't know why they didn't make the option of playing FF3 in FPS, especially since if you walked around the whole game in camera mode you are in FPS so it's not like it's all that difficult to write that into the program. Cuz it's a whole other game in FPS than crappy fixed camera 3rd person.

Wow....sounds creepy! I should try it in that mode! When I first played FF2, I played on the ps2 and I stopped after the first chapter cuz it was annoying. Then I played FF2 FPS and it still is the best horror game I've ever played. I only made it through FF1 because I wanted to know the story after FF2. I'm sure if I played FF1 first I would've never finished it because camera angles don't make things as scary. I mean, you know when a ghost charges you in camera mode. Imagine what it is like when you turn around or open a door and a ghost is like inches from your face. Much scarier in FPS than 3rd person.

Did you need the type zero? It's been a lifetime or two away since I last played the game (at least it feels like it).

Type Zero or Type 90 film and the ability to make a Zero shot are needed for the final bosses on FFI and II, but on three Reika isn't a one hit kill ghost unless she catches you in the grain-y mode she somtimes goes into. The other bosses are in the first two.

I actually found this forum from a Fatal Frame one. I've been interrupted playing Fatal Frame 1 & 2. I got Fatal Frame 2, got up to the Kusabi, and my friend borrowed it for about three months. Turns out she was too scared to play it, and I basically lost any acquired skills I had. I had planned on restarting it, but I'm scared myself (Sae and the Kusabi love to play one-hit-you're- dead tag), so I'll just pick it back up at the KuKu later. In Fatal Frame 1 (I got a PS2 just for Fatal Frames 1 & 3) I got to Night 2 and then my mom threw out my memory card. Frustrated, I ambled along trying to get back to it, but then I got Rule of Rose.

I actually got into FF first because one of my friends was too scared to play it alone but wanted to, so she had me play it while she was being all scared. She actually got me killed at a broken neck because she got scared and was pulling at my arm. But it's a great game. FF II DC is the best horror game hands down (sorry you CT, RE, SH, and RoR fans)

Ah!!! I LOVE FF..=3 The first game was the first, and one of the only games that scared me so much I had to turn it off. =p And wait until I had a friend and it was broad daylight.
Now we play in the dark tho'. XP Hehehe.
But FF3 is my second favorite game, like, EVER. =p

A fourth installment would be appreciated ^__^ but in USA FF2 sold around 64.000 copies. Very little! :-( So, I don't know how many hopes'd exist for a new chapter... *sigh!*
