Wendy certainly ain't my darling.>_>
While I can relate to her on wanting to cling to her only friend in lonely times, what she did and caused is just unforgivable!! Especially to...;-;

~Certainly there must be some people here who like poor little old me? *Raises his hand* :° She surely did too many bad things, but ... I can't but love her. Her ideal of 'everlasting true love' is so romantic ... she's too possessive, of course, but remember she was the one who freed Jennifer from Gregory's House. She was just so lonely ... in spite of her position. :°

She should not have freed Jennifer-she was better off with Gregory! She was being taken care of by a kind individual, not like how it was at the orphanage. And in the end, look how much pain ended up being caused by her "freeing" Jennifer.

Well, but I think we all like the way things happened. And it's all thanks to Wendy ! XD
No sorrow, no Rule of Rose. :°

That may be so, but then it would have been more likely for everyone to have a happy ending.

It's a terrible feeling to be lonely and I can imagine how badly she needs someone to confide in. Anyway, I think it's better off for Jennifer to be rescued because you'll never know what kind of things Gregory (in his unstable condition) might do to her, especially when he's always carrying a gun. Also, doesn't anyone want freedom?

I can understand Wendy's loneliness, but I can't agree with the things she did because of it.
As for Gregory, I honestly don't think he would have hurt Jennifer. I've always stated that while he is definately a bit out of it at that point, I refuse to believe he could hurt a child or anyone else, for that matter. She lived with him for roughly seven months, and he never once hurt her that we know of and was apparently very kind to her, so much that it took a long time for Wendy to convince her to leave, and she was wracked with guilt otherwise. As for freedom, I think she might have been able to get it if she honestly put forth an effort. Gregory seems like the type who would give his kid whatever he wanted.

Man, her control issues and her jealousy issues pretty much steal the spotlight away from anything redeeming about her The only good thing that I can say about her is that earlier on in the game, it was nice to be able to go to her and not have her say something caustic.

But it just showed how two-faced she was. She acted sweet, then goes and causes a massacre.;-;

Nah, I like Wendy. Certainly the most interesting and developed character, though I'll admit Gregory is a close second.
It's always the sickly, though, isn't it?
What I really want to know is... did Wendy know the real Joshua? It seemed like she wandered off often and little boys tend to play outside. I would think they met each other at least once, for the breifest of moments. Though, it was never mentioned in the game, there's gotta be a chance.

No, she didn't know the real Joshua. This is proven by her letters to Jennifer when she was living with Gregory.

Oohhh~ I do have to admit, I think Wendy is an equally interesting character in comparison with everyone else - she's even the most developed I think! You can tell the developers spent a lot of time o n her. ^^
