I love Brown and Hewie! But there are many times I find myself leaning toward Brown. There were alot of times I got mad at Hewie because he wouldn't listen or he would just go off and leave me and I would have to go look for him. Maybe there should be a Jennifer VS. Fiona thread

You do realize that Hewie has an AI that needs to be trained right? I have no trouble getting him to do what I want, in fact, I have somewhere a small guide which shows where to praise him and will get dog level A 100% of the time.
What is this thread meant to be seriously? Brown or Hewie gameplay. or as characters?

Both. And we already know my issues with caring for Hewie while trying to play Haunting Ground.

Well if you want to use Hewie's AI as one of his faults and a reason not to like him, take a look at how you're playing first. You're ''issues'' are 100% avoidable.

Don't start this again. You can't say that things multiple other people have noticed are my own fault and "100% avoidable".

Let me give you an example. In this world there are millions who suck at Tekken and millions who don't. The same goes for anything really I guess, but the fact that there are multiple people who can get Hewie to obey them and as you say multiple that can't. That just shows there are multiple that suck and either should do something about it or shut up.
Like I said I know how to get him to obey and get the best rank. You obviously don't. So I can say it's 100% avoidable and you're own fault. What is it about the fact that multiple people say something and it becomes the undisputed truth?
Look at other game reviews, for this example DBZ Budokai 3. One review says it's nothing but a childish button masher with no depth. The reviewer goes on to say the game is so limited all you can do is the few moves he sees in the command list. So he gives the game 1/10 but what he doesn't know is, cancels and cancel combos, juggles, stuns, resets, or anything about the properties of the moves or the characters in general. And the thing is MULTIPLE people think this too. Does that make it the truth then?
Somehow I doubt you'll even read all of this and say the same thing, but whatever.

You know, you are really close to getting in trouble with that attitude of yours. I have already stated that I am quite good at Haunting Ground, but still have these problems. Your comments are extremely insulting to the people who claim to have these problems. You try to claim they are at fault and pay no mind to the many faults of the game itself.

What attitude? Stating a true fact? I pay mind to every aspect of the game and and it's not that I try to claim it's their fault, I'm telling them it is.
Answer this then. How can a fault be a fault if only some people experience it? I'll answer that for you. It's because some are better than others. I'm not trying to act superior in any way here, but if people are going to say inaccurate things about a game I know everything about I have to say something.
If Hewie's AI was flawed and he never does what you want, it would be impossible to for me to flawlessly beat the game with no problem. Oh wait a minute, that is what I do.

Your attitude is very rude and condescending to everyone who has experienced these problems. I already told you I am skilled at this game, yet still have these problems. It is not my fault-it is the fault of the game. Some people are bound to get lucky. So, just drop it already. This thread is getting really off course, and we've already had this discussion.

I can't believe you say it's luck when I have guaranteed methods that never fail.

I never have problems with Hewie. I pet him and shake with him all the time. xD
Also give him jerky a lot... just because. ._.
I think it's easy getting his dog level up. ^^

Risa do you know if shake gives more or less praise then normal? I can still get dog rank A without it, but I'd like to know anyway. The main reason I don't use it is in a speedrun it takes way to long to complete than with the normal way that works anyway.
Just to find out, I think I might do a run using only shake and see if I still get a good rank.

I don't know if it does. I heard you're supposed to praise him after he shakes with you though, so it would seem like praising him after he does something good any other time.
My speed runs would probably be so much better if I didn't praise Hewie so much for no reason. xD
