Ok so I just started watching the new series Umineko no Naku Koro ni and it was really Great. It has its own air about it. It kinda gose against all the logic that Higurashi tried to keep and adds a new spin. So what opinions do you have on it.

Fixed your post. The anime is okay, but the visual novels are so much better. Just like with Higurashi, they leave out too much. And the blocky censorship is horrible. All four of the Question Arcs are already translated, so I'd suggest just getting Episode 4 online at some place like HimeyaShop. It has all the Question Arcs in it. Here's my forum for Umineko: whenseagullscry.proboards77.com/Hope you'll join and post.^^ There's a fansite, too, but since it's also a GeoCities site, it's in the same boat as my RoR one.@_@

Im kinda confused with the characters Lambdadelta and Bernkastel. I've read that Lambdadelta has something to do with Miyo and Bernkastel has something to do with Rika, but I can't figure out what it is, even after watching the anime and seeing some of the games.

The anime really doesn't clear up a lot.
In Higurashi, Ferderica Bernkastel is the original Rika who, after being murdered, kept on being sent to other worlds by Hanyuu. In other words, she is the Rika who has lived for over a hundred years. Eventually, she came to stop thinking of herself as typical Rika, since she was technically overwriting the Rika of whatever world she entered. In Higurashi Rei, she truly realizes this and calls herself by that new name. However, at some point, she becomes a witch, cruelly travelling between worlds and playing with different peices to see what outcomes she could get. This is the epilogue to the last arc of Higurashi Kai-shown in the anime as the adult-looking Rika encountering a young Takano and changing her fate.
"Lamda" and "Delta" together are Greek for "34", just like how "Miyo" makes up "34" in Japanese. Miyo is Takano's name, and Lambda looks like a younger version of her. She also references the events of Higurashi as a game between her and Bern, with Bern eventually winning, something she is bitter about.

So, back to the game, then? Not much that can really be said here, since we don't want to spoil anyone. I really hope you'll join my forum, though, and talk about it there.D :

I love, love, love, love, love, love Uminekooooooooo. Gahahahah! I've played aaaaall of the games. ALL OF THEM. I have yet to play EP6, though. I don't have new earphones, and I refuse to play the game without earphones. I wanna play the game sooo badly now, though. I'm tired of missing lots of good fanart just because I don't want to spoil the gaaaame!
