Yep, there is. There's also a movie in Japan based on the sequel, and a movie is being made here in the US, but will be somewhat Americanized(Which makes me think of The Grudge>_> .

I always wanted to play that. My dad bought the game at a thrift store, but we never found the console.

The worst game I ever played. Bit ago I rented X-Men Legends. Terrible game. Same thing over and over; Walk from room to room, using boring abilities to beat enemies. Never have I rented a game based upon a comic book again.

I oddly enjoyed a few comic games.

I'd have to say amongst the worst games I've played, and believe me, I've played many a bad title, were PaRappa the Rapper, the rapping was hilarious at points, but all it was, was just press the buttons in time to the rhythm, got really, really repetitive after a while.
Along with some of the earlier WWF/WWE wrestling games on older consoles, dear lord those were bad, I'll rank War Zone amongst the worst of the offenders, because that game blew.
And Final Fantasy X-2, holy Moses, the atmosphere was so damn cheesy and ridiculous, that I absolutely could not get into the game.
I have a feeling I am gonna get flamed, but Final Fantasy 9, in my books, was a cheap attempt by Square before they merged with Enix, to cash in on all the nostalgia of the old FF games. I had hated pretty much every aspect of the game from start to finish (yes I beat it), I only played it so I could hate it from an internal perspective, yes, stupid I know, but I wanted so bad to shut those fanboys/girls of the game up that it wasn't funny.
Anyway, that about sums it up for now, I'm certain I'll think up more titles in the future.

Parappa's two sequels-Um Jammer Lammy and Parappa the Rapper 2-were much better. The first one gets on my nerves because it is just too hard. No matter how well you play, it says you are messing up.
X-2 I did not mind so much. It was not up to the standards of a typical FF game, but that's not what it was supposed to be. I saw it more as just a side-story, with great music and an intriguing battle system. Is a bit short, though.

I actually preferred X-2 to the first. Tidus was just too whiney for my tastes. Every other cutscene, I'd want to strangle him.

Lammy was a spin off actually, not a sequel, while it had a cool soundtrack, the gameplay still sucked.
I gotta add Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure to my list of bad games, oh my God...I can't even describe what a terrible joke that game truly is. It was just like, wow...I had never played a game where everything was just a joke. It absolutely blew.
Also, ha ha, about X-2, part of the reason I hated it so much is because of it's soundtrack, I confess, I hate most, and when I say most, I mean 98%, of pop music, the fact that a majority of FFX-2's soundtrack was pop, funk, and jazz, really didn't help things, I mean, the two composers that composed the soundtrack are talented, however, this was far and away, their worst work yet. I felt more like I was playing a Charlie's Angels RPG, than a Final Fantasy.

Lammy was called a sequel by the creator's, though.
And the Marl's Kingdom series is extremely popular in Japan, spreading to even games like Phantom Brave, La Pucelle, and Disgaia. Rhapsody was cutesy and fun!

Disgaea was a cool game, so was La Pucelle, and heck, Disgaea 2 was pretty damn cool as well. I can't say the same about Rhapsody or the Phantom Brave, I tried to like PB, but I couldn't get into that one.

For me, it was the battle system, and the soundtrack. Not to mention poor Marona getting treated like crap and being taken advantage of everywhere she went. The concept would've been downright awesome had it been executed properly, and had a better soundtrack that made me want to continue to battle throughout the game.
