What's the absolute worst game you have ever played?

I just don't get Crash Bandicoot's popularity. I think those games were horrid. Especially when you had one of the best platformers ever in Spyro the Dragon available. Why would anybody want to play Crash Bandicoot? The controls were so contra-intuitive that getting past the first screen often required hours of practice just to avoid falling into the same pit for the thousandth time!
Honorable mentions: Spider and Steel Harbinger
Games that I really really wanted to like but...: King's Field, Silverload and (don't hit me... again) Katamari Damacy

Hmm.....
One would probably be Baulder's Gate for the XBOX....Waaaay too short and had the most random ending I think I've ever seen.

I'm not too fond of Haunting Ground...

I never got far in haunting ground either, I can't hardly stand seeing it sitting on my shelf. It was dirt cheap at kmart and I was interested in getting it because I'm a fan of capcom but this was atrocious. Also, I couldn't get far in Siren either. I gave it a chance but I just couldn't get into it, but Haunting Ground was definately the worst.

Siren I loved, though the story could have been a little less confusing.

What was wrong with Haunting Ground? It's one of my favourites. Once you get far enough in it it has an interesting story. It has great characters with an interesting story for each of them too.
As for a game I don't like... I'd have to think on that. xD

It just seemed to combine all the things I disliked about Clock Tower 3, and add a whole lot of new bad stuff.

Worst game I've ever played...probably Inuyasha (can't remember the subtitle, but something to do with the cursed mask or something.) The gameplay was just too slow.

It just seemed to combine all the things I disliked about Clock Tower 3, and add a whole lot of new bad stuff. I agree a little on that. Mostly the panic mode. I hated that in Clock Tower 3 too. But the other stuff in Haunting Ground was awesome; puzzles, story, characters, music, and other stuff, especially the death scenes. I loved those. ;D
I guess some of the worst games I've played would have to be all the PS2 Spyro the Dragon games. They were nothing like the originals. I loved those three for PSX. ;_; The PS2 ones just destroyed the series.

Worst game? My God.
Ring: Terror's Realm for the Dreamcast is the worst game ever made...right there next to Clock Tower 3 (no offense CT3 fans! *cries*)

I didn't think Clock Tower 3 was that bad. It definately paled in comparison to the originals and had a lot of bad things about it, but there were some good things, too.

I have to say "Siren". It looked so cool when I saw it on X-play, it got great reviews, and I got it the day it came out - then I attempted to play it and the controls were horrible and it got boring after a while. "Obscure" is a lot like that too.
