Not trying to start anything here but those reasons don't happen to me at all.
-Canine companion who rarely does what you need him to and forces you to backtrack to find him again. -Enemies that appear about every five seconds and chase you endlessly. -Screen becomes impossible to see when character panics. -Fiona's completely ridiculous build.-.-; -Lack of an interesting story so far.
-Did you treat him nicely? For me he does everything and never lags behind. -Not that often. If they keep appearing chances are you're doing something to make them appear. They can be knocked out easily enough. -The point of panic mode. You did it to yourself. You may as well say taking damage in games in general is a flaw. -That's more an opinion. I don't find anything wrong with how she looks. -There was quite a bit of discussion about the story on the GF boards. But I won't argue if the story is good or not because I don't care myself.
Did you play this game for very long?

I have played it fairly long. I am as nice to Hewie as possibly, considering enemies appear nearly every five seconds, and I'm not doing anything to make them do so. And that kind of a panic mode is ridiculous, since half the time you have no idea where you are going or anything. At least in CT3s panic mode, you can see enough to even have a chance of survival. And there are quite a lot of people who dislike the game for things regarding to Fiona's build and how the camera interacts with it. And I like a game to have a good story.

They really don't appear that often. They have a few certain appearances and the random ones aren't that often. Like I said they are easily disposed of.

It's called panic mode for a reason. If you let it get to blinding point whose fault is that?
And there are quite a lot of people who dislike the game for things regarding to Fiona's build and how the camera interacts with it.
I don't get what you mean here. Are you saying you don't like the way she looks? Camera interaction?
And I like a game to have a good story.
It's not bad, but I won't argue once again because I don't care.
If it sounds like I'm trying to start arguments I'm not. I'm a friendly Birdman.

>_<
They do appear that often, especially since there are very few ways to successfully lose them. That, combined with how big the castle is, makes it near impossible for you to not end up in Panic Mode, and then you are really doomed.
She is built ridiculously, and the camera is arranged so that it spends unneccesary time on her butt and chest. This has been pointed out by numerous review sites.
And the story is horrible. There is nothing to it at all.

I do no panic, no damge, no item speedruns on hard mode regularly so I can safely say its not that bad. It's impossible to end up in panic unless it was your own fault. And there are so many ways to lose them. If you don't want to hide, KO them. Or you can use the tricks where you activate certain events that summon them while they're chasing you to cancel it. For example the first guy, when you first meet him, run back to the door you came in and hide behind it. He will go past and down the stairs, then you walk back into the hall and head down to the plate machine. He's gone untill his next certain appearance which is after the puppet door. Just run past and have Hewie attack while you run to the top of the stairs. Keep going past the playroom, out side then purposely fall off the broken part. Here you can go round to the switch for the bridge. He can't follow here because when you hit that switch it triggers him to appear. Now all you have to do is run back to the part where you fell and go across the bridge to the room with the block puzzle. He can't go in here. He has been known to appear randomly when you exit that part. After that, he will only appear once more when you get the item from the study, where he now has the ability to run. Still you can outrun him to the ladders and make enough distance, so when you get back to the tower and close the door he goes away. Overall that's 4 appearances plus a random one.

Oh that's what you meant. Well I still say that is an opinion not a flaw in the game.
I'm not saying the story is the best I've ever heard but its ok.You should check the GF board if the thread is still there.

PLEASE learn how to use the quote function, or at least use quotation marks. It is pointless to try and argue this any further, since if you don't want to see it's flaws, you won't, and this is beginning to get too off-topic.

I will learn how to use it. And I'm not trying to argue, its just that what you said aren't exactly flaws. I do see flaws in the game, like how sometimes I ask Hewie to search it a certain spot, if I'm pointing in even slightly the wrong way he searches the wrong way. So in this case I think they should have made the coverage of his search area larger.

Most people consider them flaws.

I seriously do not mean to offend you, but it sounds to me like you're not that good at the game. If those are flaws are like you say, why don't I suffer from them? What part of no damage, no panic, no item game did you not understand? Sorry if I sound mean or whatever but I've been playing this for so long and know the gameplay inside and out, so I have to say something.

I've been playing the game for a long time as well, not to mention the game it was modelled after, and I am as good as it as possible. Besides, I'm not the first person to notice these problems with the game. And I'm not sure what you mean by all that "no damage, no panic, no item" stuff, but the way you word it does sound rather offensive.

Ok, but just know I'm not trying to offend anyone.
What I mean by no damage, no item, no equip, no panic, is where you play through the game not getting damaged, using no items, no equips, and not getting into panic mode. All while getting dog rank A and doing it in the fastest time possible. That's why I said you might not be that good at the game, because of those points you mentioned like not being able to deal with stalkers, how it's impossible to stay out of panic, and how the dog sucks. If these were so, I wouldn't be able to do what I do.

Like I said, I'm not the only one who has experienced these problems, and I am good at the game.

Ok, listen carefully. I don't want to have to say this but you really must suck at it. So what if you know others that experience these ''problems'', I know quite a few that don't, namely a lot of my friends who I have many speed run competitions with.
Think about your points. You getting into panic mode. How does panic mode happen? You get hit by stalkers, and whose fault is that? How can you say it's impossible not to get into panic when I and others don't get into it. I already proved not only that stalkers appear hardly as much as you say, and when they do they are easily disposed of. Yet you say it's a flaw in the game when you get panic mode because of them. What do you do? stand there? It's the same for Godhand where the game is so hard it gets crappy reviews because some people couldn't handle it. Yet if you visit the GF you'll see its an awesome game with ways to deal with everything.
Fionas build and story fine, I get those, but when it comes to the gameplay you guys really don't know what you're talking about. Do I need to get videos for you? And I'm not calling PrincessJennifer or tooky liars, you're just not as good as you thought.
Please understand this is not an attack and don't kick me out I like this forum.

You have not proved anything, however. Like I said, many people who have played the game have said this, not just me and tooky. Maybe you are getting lucky or something, but multiple people have experienced it.
And getting panic mode is not ever what I complained about. I complained about how it became impossible to see AFTER getting it. At least in Clock Tower 3's version, you still had a fair amount of visibility. But you get it in Haunting Ground, and it is pretty much game over.
