no, not the Mermaid or the Final Boss....
but hasn't anyone had problems in the chapter when you have to retrieve the teddy bear?
I mean the part when you're chasing ´Joshua´ around and suddenly a group of imps surround you in an intersection and you have to defeat them in order to continue. Not once, but 3 times
The first time I played, I only passed that part after dying 5 or 6 times... and in "danger" status, meaning I had to follow Brown through the entire airship ´crawling´ after these 3 dreadful fights. o.O

There's a way to fight and avoid the glitchyness. It's too only use the first hit of your weapon, then wait half a second so the second hit doesn't come out. By doing this you can repeatedly hit an enemy to death and not have to worry about the rest glitching through them. That is, if you're having this problem?

Yeah, but those fights are particularly difficult because you're surrounded. Even if I do that, another imp will come and grab me and allow the others a free hit.

3 ´basic´ imps the first time (not so dramatic) 4 the second time, and then in the final ´round´ you face something like 4/5 imps and 1 pig imp, which is were I usually get killed  ; |

When they appear,just run in circle ,you are fast enough to avoid the attack,then hit them from behind with pipe,which is what I did,with long range,it knocks them out,then re-attack when they are up again

Pipe is enough,but you sure can get better weapon anyway

Indeed it does,on the later time I received it ^^
Good range and fast attack+fast recovery from attack also,on 2nd run the game is getting even more easier to me ;D

Using the first hit of a weapon only deals with all imps. I don't know how many times I'll have to say it. You can repeatedly stun them like this by hitting again after a second.
Rusty sword is a special weapon right? I hate those type of things.

It's a weapon you have to get by using the Gift Box.
