seeing everyone else's names makes this feel like an impromptu rpg. i suppose when i get around to making my icon, i'll have to find myself a picture of a sweeper. and then a maid to beat and leave lying around. and you'll kindly keep your dessert forks to yourselves.
sad to see theres no introductory guidelines/form to get the ball rolling and i'm miserable at these things. but boredom prevails...
i've never actually played a survival horror game, because i have a crippling paranoia/fear of being surrounded, even on a game console, so i always stuck with turn-based rpgs. i am so pleased that i ignored all of my apprehensions and bought ror anyway. my only complaint is (brace yourselves, its not the combat) that it was too short. i wanted more exploration of the children and their cruelty. i guess it could have gone on for years though, i would still want more.
about me: 21 years old. married (newlywed, sort of). very, very interested in japan (mythology, manga, anime, history, culture, silly little videos on youtube about a perky little girl surrounded by some surprisingly well endowed dancing animals...). dog lover/owner: rottweiler, pushing 10 years old, recovering remarkably well from a stroke. she's kind of like my filthy brown, however, had i been jennifer, the story would have unfolded quite differently. suffice it to say that gregory's services wouldn't have been needed. *wields broomstick threateningly* oh, and i would have had to search for everything myself while she took a nap in the dorms. we'll call her spooky jr (she'll be needing an alias because i'll be working her into the conversation at every available opportunity). other than that, there isn't much else to say.
other video games i like are super mario, silent hill, final fantasy, digital devil saga, shin megami tensei: nocturne, the sims (not because i play it - how tedious - but because it makes storytelling so much easier), the longest journey, and i do believe thats it. not much of a gamer, i'm afraid. i am replaying rule of rose right now (as the nurse. now when the monsters surround me it makes me snicker because they're like heroin addicts flocking to the syringe.. or maybe theres something seriously wrong with me, i don't know) and when i've had enough of that, i'm going to try okami.
i am crossing my fingers that this forum is highly successful because i desperately want some place active to discuss/fawn over rule of rose. and if theres anything i can do to help to the progression, just let me know.
