I have the same problem with my unfinished stories. I sometimes get writers block. I have about 3 unfinished stories. Hope to see yours eventually.

Your story is really good so far though, Spooky, I'd like to keep reading as soon as your Muse comes back to you. XD

Yay, an update! =D A very interesting read!
I'm glad I found this now when I was happening to have a Snow Day with nothing to do. =D

Uh oh, this doesn't bode well...
I'm intrigued, too; what happened to Diana? How will Meg cope? What does Eleanor know that we don't?
Can't wait to read more!

You have no idea how thrilled I was to find an update!
Though I disagree with calling your previous installments "putrid crap," this chapter is my favorite so far just because of the imagery involved. I also liked your view of the children's society: Eleanor has now assumed second-in-command, and Jennifer is playing prince (by the way, is this nineteen or nine year old Jenny?).
I kind of got the idea that Wendy was the one who was responsible for Diana's death, but I'm not quite so sure from those last few lines.
And poor little Meg. Poor little bereaved now-ranked-lower-than-Jennifer Meg.
Please, spooky, I'd like some mo'.

Was a bit short, but that's the price you have to pay for speedy updates.
I like the sort of disjointed feel to this part and how it includes everyone's reactions (I find Amanda's particularly amusing, mostly because I picture her fist hitting the brooch) plus the metaphorical-ness just went up about ten degrees (and I LOVE IT).
Also, thanks for clearing that up for me, though I have the same problem. Even if it's 9 year old Jenny, I picture full-grown.

Gregors, no! This installment is rather mysterious, as well as poetic. I particularly liked the part about his hands and knees being scraped and the foreshadowing that entails. And I can't shake the thought that the image of "dripping black holes that riddled his ravaged mind" connects with him shooting himself... I don't mind straying from canon in fanfiction; it's half the fun, after all. And I comment because I enjoy reading the story and I know what encouragement means to a writer--sometimes, it's all the incentive you have to keep going, especially if you've fallen victim to the dreaded block. Besides, you always comment on my work, so consider us even.
