I failed at it. I pretty much died SO many times at every one of the enemies. ESPECIALLY THE FIRST GUY. I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL. D:<
But yeah, I liked it. I wish I had of kept the file, so that I could finish it now. Oh well, I'm gonna have to start over, since I'm buying it in a few days. Yay me.
Daniella...yeah, I love her. She's such a riot, especially later. I think you'll enjoy her. She gets WEIRD though, as a warning. :/

;w; They never found you..? Lucky. I was always getting caught, I must just suck XD The first guy scared me the most, and the last boss just pissed me off to where I never got scared anymore :/ I wish they found me more. It's kinda stupid the guy can't see me behind the fish in the fish tank after running into that room for the umpteeth time or the guy doesn't just kick down the old rotting door to the bathroom after he sees me run in there again and again. Would've made the game much more scary. Personally, CT3 fails as a horror game imo. It's an interesting adventure game, barring the above problems. Fatal Frame II DC is still WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY up there on my list of horror games. Nothing comes close to its spookiness, especially when you play with the doors closed, lights out, everything else turned off, and a sound system with surround sound and a subwoofer to get those really creepy creaks. It also doesn't hurt to play with a girl who was too afraid to play alone too, kinda like my own little Mayu, but one that I don't have to be creeped out by.

The enemy AI in haunting ground is a lot smarter than CT3. In haunting ground it's better just to fight back instead of hide. I like the D ending. It's very unique.

*returns after long absence*
I hated Haunting Ground, mostly because it was so much fun. I felt dirty after playing that game... but it was an enjoyable play; I rented it and beat it five or six times within the two days I had it.
Somehow playing a large-breasted fourteen year old (yes, I know it says she's legal in the instruction book, but outside the FMVs her face looks like she's barely in high school) being chased by people who invariably want to rape her (or at least kill her with sexual overtones) just didn't do it for me.
Fiona the Walking Victimized Uterus was not my idea of a heroine.

I liked Haunting Ground a lot! I got so upset because I accidently kicked Hewie on several occassions. I felt so bad, even though it was only a video game.

Fiona the Walking Victimized Uterus was not my idea of a heroine. From what I've seen of the game (in terms of horror), it sounds pretty disturbing if they throw in the sexualization in there. As for Fiona looking like a child, remember that the game was Japanese. They like little girls. Even Miku in Fatal Frame was younger looking in the Japanese game. They aged Miku for the US audiences because they thought that the US might not like a HS girl playing the role. Here's the Japanese Miku compared to the American Miku www.cameraslens.com/miku.php

Even though they're just video games, I always feel bad if I end up doing something like that. I also hate it when I get bad endings. Like in Silent Hill, I always want the good ending first. Call me weird, but Im in a better mood if I get the good ending first instead of a bad one. I got the bad ending first when I played RoR, and then during the credits, I felt miserable. -_-

I don't think Fiona looks that young. They obviously wanted to make her as young as possible (18) otherwise the game might have caused a public outrage. I know a woman thats 23, but looks like a young teenager. I'm 20, but I've been told I look young, too.

CT3 was quite good..Even tho' I finished it pretty quick..=o Last boss isn't hard if you know his patterns....I had MAJOR issues, but made it through.
HG is great too. ^_^ Hewie!! Aww! I saw a puppy that looked a lot like him. I even went "..Hewie!" under my breath. =p Hehe. Anyways, I found it a bit harder than similar CT3. And quite a bit more disturbing. o.o Daniella was GREAT though. My favorite character so far, even though I haven't played through the whole thing yet. I need to do that..xD
And I know how the whole being mistaken for a younger person than you really are thing is. =p I've been told that I look two years younger than I really am..AT THE OLDEST. =p

Miku was still a high-school girl in the US version, though-she was only 17.

I love Haunting Ground. Hewie, Daniella and Riccardo are my favourites. I have a website dedicated to the game, and I own the Riccardo fanlisting. ;D
