Since nearly every other character seems to have a topic but her, come here to share your opinion on Meg.

She's the one who came up with all the ideas for the game, punishments and how the Aristocrat Club should be run? Her relationship with Susan is of the sisterly kind, but why did she admire Diana so much to the point of loving her?

She probably looked up to her for being older, prettier, etc. And there is no proof that she came up with all that, only a few punishment ideas, and she seems to speak for the princess and keep records of everything.

She's the secretary! Ehehehe...
Just from what I've seen so far, she idolizes Diana for the reasons mentioned - she's prettier, older etc. But also because she maybe needed someone to idolize - I can only imagine that when you're that age and there are more or less no adults since they ran out on you - you need someone to idolize. For Meg, that was Diana since she was the more certain and self confident.
Well, that's my two cents. ^^

Just thinking, she already has a companion, why would she want to have a lover? Is she like Wendy who also wants to be devoted to someone? Her love letter to Diana has many cancelled words, was she trying to express her other feelings but couldn't?

For me, it's not a really romantic relationship (although the love letter may contradict) that Meg was after - it was just to be recognised by someone she idolized and 'loved'.
Aren't we all like that? When there's someone we admire or like, we do everything we can to get them to notice us?

I really think above all else she idolized and loved Diana.

Yeah, I actually do agree with that.

I guess Meg's act of giving the rose to Diana inside the closed cubicle is as intimate as she can get.

I think she's a positively annoying character!

Because Meg's love letter has so many words that got cancelled, what do you think she originally wanted to express her feelings towards Diana?

I'm not sure what you mean, but I think she wanted to make Diana realize how much she loved her. But despite this strong love, I think she also hated her too.

Meg is quite an interesting case. Perhaps she might have only been devoted to Diana and looked up to her as a big sister. However, I believe there was more to it. Perhaps it first started that way, but I'd like to believe that it went farther. Meg probably fell in love with her, but was unable to show it, and/or was unable to quite understand the feelings herself. Despite her feelings being constantly ignored, in her mind, Meg had an image of Diana as the perfect person, one that even returned her feelings.

There's no doubt that Meg loved Diana. But I don't think she truly thought her faultless. She may heve claimed that Diana was perfect, but she knew it was not true, and there was even a part of her that hated her. Her feelings to Diana were not returned, and in her heart, she knew that, but preferred to blame the torn letter on Jennifer rather than accept the truth.
