...that the other orphans got kinda jipped? I mean, we never get a chapter focusing on the boys, Olivia, or Susan.

We know Olivia always cried when adults were around...Susan was close with Meg and liked to spread rumors...Nicholas and Xavier like to swordplay...Thomas like trains, pranks, teasing, and drawing on everything, plus was ruler of the play area.

I can see why. The game didn't focus on some of the people in Jennifer's life because they weren't as strong figures in her memory; the boys hardly even talk and Olivia's usually crying and Susan we hardly see even at all (though Susan has her adorable little Irish accent.. "Wen-dih!") so we can probably assume she didn't deal with them as much as she did the girls in her own age group. (And who would want to play with those gross little boys anyway? If I'd been Wendy's age I'd have made them take a bath.)

Yeah, there should have been more on them. Some chapter on them could have made the game a bit longer and more interesting.

That's why I plan to release a novel of side-stories after releasing my original novel. It's hard to cover the other characters and what they're feeling when the story is supposed to focus on one certain character.

Sounds like a great idea! The Rule of Rose people should do that!

They hardly made enough money from Rule of Rose to warrant anything of the sort, unfortunately. It'd be wicked, but realistically the only games with such things are the very popular ones like Final Fantasy and so on.

Not entirely true, as games like Forbidden Siren and Clock Tower got neat things like that, though they rarely get officially translated and neither game was considered popular.

Forbidden Siren made enough income to spawn something like 2 sequels (I think they announced a PS3 one being developed) and Clock Tower has even more. Rule of Rose unfortunately hasn't even been published in Europe or Australia, that's a lot of lost income. They could do it, but economically that would be one of the stupidest choices Punchline could make if they intend to make any games in the future.
