I feel the regular imps are appropriate enemies, it has to have some challenge to impede the players progress, and I have no issue with some tough bosses, and I feel ROR wasn't excessive in that field considering the way most bosses are, but the quantity and frequency in which the imps are encountered really can slow it down in some parts, though I stand by it that they're awesome.

Well, I like them, except the rat and big birds one. they really hurt with one hit, rat especially! xP
I think too they are the eprfect enemies for the game,. Even more in the last chapter.

The birds were horrible and pretty much impossible to beat.

Lol worse than that would be the FIVE REALLY big birds (Along with some small) you meet after going up stairs, before getting the last piece of hint, to open the last box. The group of birds you meet after you see Susan. I wonder if one day I get courage and try to kill everyone, for Honor =p
Edit: i don't know if they are exactly five, but were more than 3 and less than 6 =p

I know, I hate it when they knock you down, especially since it takes Jen so long to stand back up and by the time she's halfway back on her feet plop..... they knock her down again.
Unlucky girl indeed lol

Actually, I have to disagree with you here. How jennifer can be unlucky being the solo survivor in an airship crash AND a multiple homicide? =p Lol, just kidding!! But if she is unlucky, is because she had spent all luck of her life in these two tragedies xP

LOL yeah, I wondered about that to when I first started playing. If I ever go on an airship I'll take her as a good luck charm just in case lol.
But beyond that, so sad, I guess her luck breaks even in a sense lol.

Or you could look at her as unlucky for surviving.
aynways the Imps are perfect enemies, just annoying and too great in number to make things simple.

The imps are probably the more creepy video game bad guys, they seem so..... unexpectedly small and it just creeps me out lol

And it's very good because we don't have to fight with all the mobs, just few of them when that brat with a bag in his head shuts de door for you =p

She was lucky to survive, but unlucky to be involved in those incidents in the first place. The airship crash, her treatment at the orphanage, Brown's death and Wendy's betrayal, the massacre...Bad things just keep happening to her.
