I don't think the owner overlooks peoples' insight on the game...people leave comments disagreeing or offering other theories all the time. I wouldn't exactly call the person a 'troll,' the website is well done and seems pretty thought out. They don't spam other websites trying to get other people to read their ideas like a troll would. And with a game as obtuse as Rule of Rose, how does anyone know exactly what was intended unless they were on the production team and got the details from the person who thought of the game? I'm just suggesting that we should be open to other peoples' ideas, especially in a discussion forum.

We around here are well-aqcuainted with the invidiual who owns that site, and that is why we call him a troll. He was banned from this site for his disrespect, especially in regards to simply ignoring what everyone else was saying and pushing his own theories, even when people argued with them. As for being open, we have addressed many of his theories here, even after he was banned, but they were all pretty quickly disproven.

I must admit, at first glance me and my friend did ponder as to wether Hoffman did abuse Carla and Diana, but on second glance, ( and also looking at the mermaid princess book ) we think it may just be that kind of Father ,Daughter relationship and it is just greatly over exagarated in Jennifers mind, I mean she see's the toys ( bird ) as a really creature even tho it's stuffed so who knows, I think thats one of the great things about the story, Everyone comes away from it thinking diffrently..

I just had a really random idea... Alright, Diana's theory of mermaids are that they're pure and beautiful etc. no? If Clara's the mermaid boss, then what does that say about Diana's views about Clara? I mean, if we were to be perverse, let's say Diana does indeed like girls, would that mean she liked Clara? *is being a tard at one in the morning*

But the world is not being twisted to suit Diana's view, but rather, Jennifer's. Clara does take the form of a mermaid, viewed as beautiful and pure, yet it is a grotesque mermaid, who seems to be suffering. Perhaps that means that, while the orphans saw Clara as a beautiful lady, Jennifer saw her as something more. Maybe she realized or thought that the girl was suffering, meaning that things weren't as wonderful for her as the others might have thought.
