untitled and unoriginal. just a short writing exercise...
Again and again Jennifer struck her, small fists hammering down on her face, but they hurt about as much as the hot tears that dripped off Jennifer's quivering chin and splashed onto her stinging skin. The physical world bloomed red and blinding, then the petals fell away, bleeding down the stems like bones in reverse; a garden of skeletons growing decay. Lost somewhere in the debris was Jennifer's ragged voice, stretched taut around the sharp edges of the words that stabbed into her like shards of glass.
'Give me back my friend!'
It was this bitter irony that finally brought tears to her own eyes.
She had said the same thing to Brown.
------
and i'm off! be back thursday.

*applauds* Fabulous! The way you compared Wendy's throttling to Brown's was pure genius and I don't think I would've noticed it otherwise. Dripping with vivid description, this is a fine tribute to my favorite scene.

thats the first thing i thought of when i saw that scene. jennifer: *slaps wendy off her feet and then commences to further assault her* me: HOW DO YOU LIKE IT, HUH? BRAT! MURDERER! *foams at mouth* i'm glad you liked it and thank you as always for your compliments! have you ever heard of/read 'the world's greatest short stories'? its a book full of stories that are exactly 58 words long. i think something like that might be fun in the future. what say you?

PrinceJoshua that statement made me think of that old Tiny Toons episode where they have the film festival and Plucky wins because his film he messed up his editing so that his film was like a few seconds long and the judges were about ready to die from the film lengths. Anyone else remember? *smiles and nods* No? *smiles and shakes head*....yea...I'm weird.

No! But this sounds like something I'd want to read! And SteadfastPrince, I do remember that episode, but only vaguely. I giggle with sadistic glee at you mentioning it though.
