Have you ever noticed the dates of Wendy's last letters ?
There are two letters that she never sent to Jennifer. The first is dated 'January 31', the second 'November 28'.
There's nothing special to say about the second, but in the first letter there IS something wrong.
She talks about a 'filthy dog'. Well, there's only one filthy dog, and his name's Brown.
But ... in the previous letters we understand that Jennifer meets Brown only in July. So ... is this just another stupid anachronism ?
It is too gross to be.

A good catch! Perhaps another type from the writers?

LOL XD Most probably.
Maybe it could've been a typo or programming error? Either that or it's a product of Jennifer's mind - which seems unlikely because they're letters from Wendy.
Yup, Jennifer can see into the future.

Well, if you want to get technical, the dates in this game are all messed up. For example, the Gingerbread House chapter takes place in June, 1929, but should be January, since that is when she escaped.

Oh yeah! That's right. Maybe it's Jen's memory that's all messed up?

I think that might be it-at least partly.

I think it's a date error in one of the secret letters between Jennifer and Wendy at the last chapter, the earliest mention of the dog, it should't be on 31 January 1930 as Jennifer discovered Brown on 22 July 1930. So maybe it could've been on 31st July.

But the chapters themselves still have a lot of errors in the date aspect.

Well, 'Gingerbread House' takes place in June 1929 just because it's probably then that Jennifer was 'saved' by Gregory and brought into his house.
Gregory 'kidnap' Jennifer into the airship, taking her into the rose garden. She visits the house and then is trapped into the room of the Basement. And, then, she's rescued by Wendy.
A lot of things are from June 1929 into this Chapter. The Diary, the calendar, the newspapers. I think this chapter covers the events from June till January.
Regarding Wendy's letters, I think that it can't be just a date error. Too gross to be. :°°°°

Looks like Jennifer's dream is really warped, after all.

Looks like Jennifer's dream is really warped, after all. That's for sure. Besides, Wendy never sent those letters .. I wonder why.

By that time, maybe she was unable to due to Jennifer spending so much time with Brown.

You think that's it? I'm not too sure...

Quite possibly she was too ill to leave the sick room to get the letter to Jennifer. She would not have another orphan do it, as they were supposed to be secret letters. And Jennifer probably was not visiting her anymore, preferring to spend her time with Brown.
