In the game, there seems to be a lot of problems when it comes to dates. Chapters take place during different months than they must have occured. Files have dates that contradict others given in the game.
For example, Jennifer escapes from the Gingerbread House in the June chapter, but this seems to actually be the month she started living there, with January of next year being when we first hear her planning to escape.
What do you guys make of all these date contradictions?

I will agree on that, the dates definitely were a tad off key from the limited experience that I had with the game, and they were all over the place to boot. It definitely made the experience a bit of a jumble. But my take is that they purposefully did it like that in order to get the person playing the game to truly think, and put the pieces of the puzzle together in the correct chronological order. Although why do it like that, I have no clue, just my two cents on the matter.
