I'm referring to Martha's letter, which you can find in her room in the "Once Upon a Time..." chapter. Most people tend to assume that it means something happened to her in the middle or writing it, but I've come up with another idea.
Maybe something happened to Jennifer in the middle of reading it. We all know everything in the game is seen from Jennifer's point of view. Perhaps she snuck into Martha's room for some reason and ended up reading the letter, only to be caught by Martha before she could finish. That would explain why it's cut off at a certain point-she never got to read the rest.

well, a lot of memos/letters/notes end abruptly in horror games to add to the creepy element, I think =D
in any case, I don´t believe Jen was interrupted (at least by Martha) while reading it... otherwise, Martha and Jen would have been forced to discuss Martha's concern at that moment

Jennifer was after all a child, and people in those days didn't discuss things like that with children.
