ok....well you kno the front cover in rule of rose right, well if you pay attention you can see a figure of a dog hanging off of some weird vine thing, its not hard 2 miss. heres a pic: ok well i saw this before on a mural, i dont kno who it is but it was some old english guy, its not the exact same but it looks similar. heres a pic of the man: and heres a pic of the yhing he is wearing that looks like the dog: does any one here have any idea what that dog hanging like that means means?? BTW: sorry about the low quality pics, i had 2 use my phone for the pics XD

Could you give us any more details about the mural? The painter or time period? What country it was painted in?

its because we saw it at a hotel we stayed in, in california, so im not exactly sure, but i will do my best

Wow, interesting find...o.o I always assumed RoR's cover-dog was a refrence to Brown, but maybe it does mean something more. If you can find the title of the picture or name, I'll do some research, too.

It's funny you should bring attention to that, because I saw a similar symbol myself really recently! Clearly it has some sort of exclusive significance to the UK. The man in the portrait looks quite like George III, though I don't think it's him. Completely forgotten when or where I saw the symbol (it was something random like a door knocker), but it did make me wonder... My guess st it's some sort of symbol of English royalty/aristocracy?

Would really be interesting to learn more about this, another one of it's little mysteries When I first saw the dog like that-I also assumed it and the other animals represented the ones in game- but the way he dangles like that is different than whats seen when playing. At least in my view, and judging by the types of symbolism used, I wouldn't be surprised if there was more to it. *Head explodes*
