When she sees the dog , it is Brown tho she does not remember him, after the rest of the movie plays she remembers him and hugs him, but it is not him it is his memory this is a symbolic excercise that bookends her distorted memories and is not represented in the game. The four leafclover key should allow for somethng more that inane symbolism of remembered memories, given what happens to brown. My post on Jennifer in the character section gives my view of her . I suspect that given the worthless pickups and inaccessible areas the game was released underdeveloped

That's just your opinion.-.-;
Many have disputed that scene in the trailer, and the most likely answer is that the dog she encounters is not actually Brown at all.

Oh , so the real dog just disappears ,then reappers ? Most likely answer is that it is Brown in a symbolic setting.

It's possible that the dog ran off or that she slips out of reality after seeing the two girls playing.

Assuming she wakes up in the park after her ordeal is over, it quite possibly did. Maybe it's sudden disappearance was part of her slipping into the dream. It's started to rain by the time she wakes up, so time has definately passed if that is the case.
