I have a theory for the Cell of Remorse. During "The Funeral", if you go down there and look at the middle shelf on the right side, you will find luggage with each of the girls' names on them. These are suitcase that each girl came to the Orphanage with, carrying their only possesions. So the name of that room makes sense at least.

Oooh, thanks for the info, adarkervision.
So now I know the meanings behind three of the cell's names. Or at least I think I do. But if they are really rooms of Jennifer's mind like I thought, it doesn't seem that the theory fits. What does the other girls' remorse have to do with Jennifer?

Well, if Jennifer feels so guilty about what happened to the kids, then maybe she's adopting their remorse for herself.

Or it could be remorse at the relationships she had with each girl. When Jen walks around the orphanage in January and talks about each girl individually, she does seem remorseful and nostalgic.

True true.
I guess she feels guilty because she thinks she caused all of the mess that ended with their demise. You know how Jennifer is. She would be the one to take the blame of all of it upon herself. That and she really feels sorry for what happened to them, despite the way they treated her. Each girl DID have a sad story of their own, that never really got ammended.

Well, I don't know if Amanda really would've been up to getting away with more than one murder, but yeah.
Wonder if they would've gotten packed off as war nurses or something.

The Allies sent them to be Axis nurses.
