That's why I've kept quiet on this thread for a while . . .

That's why I've kept quiet on this thread for a while . . . Lol. It seems that one thing leads to another and then it gets completely off topic.

That's why I've kept quiet on this thread for a while . . . Lol. It seems that one thing leads to another and then it gets completely off topic. This has happened at least once in all of the popular threads, though this one confused the hell outta me that I didn't even bother to try to post until someone went back to something that made since.

Lets see. First it was MJ, then it was....um....what were the others?

Lets see. First it was MJ, then it was....um....what were the others? I don't remember. I do know we've gone off topic more than just that. Usually it's not very far or long (MJ was an exception) so it's not very noticeable. I was totally unaware of the topic in the MJ thread for a while when we were on that one.

Oops, my bad guys. Back to topic then: why would Susan pick Meg of all the older girls to latch onto if she's seeing her as a big sister type? Or do you think Meg picked her?
I don't even know what's going on in the MJ digression...it scares me too much to comment on it.

Well, if you look at Susan's options they all suck.
Amanda - The lowest class. Susan's already higher up Jen - Well, Olivia could bully Jen. Not role model material Eleanor - Try to get more than a "I hate you" outta her Wendy - I think everyone's in agreement it's best not to have ANY sort of relationship with this nutcase Diana - Any observer can see how Meg is treated Meg - She's a psycho mad scientist who needs a little Igor
Well, which would you choose?

Well, Tom keeps to himself and his train, and the other two boys were always playing with swords. And Clara, while another student, was old enough to be considered an adult, and she worked as the nurse. It is curious that she looked younger than Diana when she wasn’t. Butterfly, rabbit, goat, mermaid, bird, Joshua the Bear. There's only one of each thing, but the pledge says "I will offer a monthly gift"... yar. @_@ Not all the chapters shown the monthly tribute. They have to capture the rabbit because he scaped. The have to search for the bear because it was stolen (or make it looks like stolen so Jennifer got the blame as a plan of Wendy to get her close and get rid of Brown). Those were orders, or mission, apart of the monthly tributes. The Unmarried mermaid being the only exception, since that was a monthly tribute. That chapter still confuse me.

I don't think Susan would look to the boys as a role model. Not too many girls/boys look to the opposite sex for that. As for the monthly tributes, they could just as easily change the tribute to a lost item. After all, the tribute is really just a kind of scavenger hunt game.

I was just eliminating the boys as an option, but you are right.

Boy do I feel weird now. Most of my role models and close friends as a kid were male. Guess that's just another nail in my coffin of crazy.
Yeah, guess all the options do suck for Susan. Oh well, someone else bring up something on topic.

Oh well, someone else bring up something on topic. I didn't like girls at all from when I was in 2nd-3rd grade cuz I was violated by a girl a year older than me. Then I realized that the girls were better competition in wallball and four square and then I was okay. There was one, while I didn't look up to her, she was probably the closest just because she could beat anyone. I "looked" up to my first girlfriend too cuz that little pixie could take down any guy twice or 3x her size. So I wasn't "normal" either.

Susan apparently also liked spreading rumors, which is why she was put in charge of gathering rumors about the Stray Dog.
